If you are on Instagram then you sure as heck have heard of the #summerfridays mask. If you haven’t then YOU ARE ABOUT TO. Get your credit card ready…

I’ve become pretty obsessed with skincare in the last two years. I will do a blog on my routine but I wanted to share this buzz worthy item review with you all first! Because I love it!

I bought the jet lag mask about two and half weeks ago and let me tell you, I was just as hesitant as you might be. The mask was designed by mega bloggers Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores Ireland. They designed the mask for long flights that would leave their skin feeling dull, dry, and tired…hence the “jet lag” title.

However, this mask is not just for jet setters. I have found this mask to be my Sunday savior. It is so hydrating and really leaves my skin radiant the next day.

There are a few ways to use this magical mask so I’ll walk you through them…

  1. Quick “pick me up” – Wash off the day, makeup free, etc. Apply a thin layer of the mask and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Dab off with a washcloth- you don’t need to rinse it off. Bam! Instant hydration!
  2. Overnight Oats- I call this the overnight oats because of the way your skin really drinks in all of the moisture. (Just like overnight oats) I apply a thicker layer at night and sleep with it on. I then rinse my face in the morning and my skin GLOWS. No joke. I don’t even have bags under my eyes. You can also leave it on as a primer for makeup!
  3. Jet Setter – This one is self explanatory. Remove your makeup before your flight and apply a thicker layer to protect your skin from the recycled, dry air.

My personal opinion is to invest in this mask. I am not getting paid to say this nor did I receive a free mask to try. I just like to keep it real with you all and let you know what works for me.

The mask retails for $48 at Sephora online and frequently sells out.

I hope this helps you make it a great day!

Let me know if you decide to try it!

XO, JB
